Responsibilities
- Own key features and components for the Ecosystem Team.
- Design and develop products involving Kubernetes, OpenStack, and related technologies.
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Implement automation tests for the CI/CD pipeline and address issues found in CI or production.
- Instrument code for metrics, monitoring, and supportability.
- Work across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and domain teams.
- Conduct code reviews and deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience using Go, Java, or C++.
- Strong programming skills and foundational knowledge of computer science and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the Spring Framework.
- Excellent system design and object-oriented design skills.
- Experience implementing API integrations with frontend applications and other services.
- Understanding of networking and distributed-system design.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to deliver on schedule.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science.
- Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and other infrastructure software.
- Preferred: experience deploying global services in AWS or Azure.
- Preferred: experience with live enterprise-scale services and complex deployment environments.
- Preferred: understanding of security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, disaster recovery, and security and compliance considerations.
