Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, and the Android SDK.
- Build reusable React Native components, Android libraries, native modules, SDK integrations, and platform-specific Android features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, payment services, and financial technology platforms.
- Optimize Android application performance, memory management, responsiveness, accessibility, reliability, and security.
- Manage automated testing, monitoring, analytics, crash reporting, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release processes.
- Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and engineering workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying production React Native applications.
- At least 3 years of native Android development experience using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Hooks, navigation, state management, Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM, Coroutines, and dependency injection.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs, implementing secure authentication, encryption, and secure data storage.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Google Play Store.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and AI-assisted coding tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience includes custom React Native native modules and Android bridges, TurboModules, Fabric, Kotlin Multiplatform, Firebase, CodePush, Jest, React Native Testing Library, Espresso, Appium, Detox, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, mobile observability or performance monitoring tools, AI-powered mobile features, Android platform modernization, and fintech, banking, payments, digital wallet, PCI-regulated, or large-scale consumer mobile applications.
Benefits
