Responsibilities
- Maintain the health, stability, scalability, and performance of global, mission-critical production services.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential service and infrastructure issues.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability processes.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Data Engineers, DBAs, and network specialists.
- Support monitoring, alerting, production support, and incident management activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across services and operational practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, production support, or a related role supporting large-scale enterprise services.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go, plus scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: knowledge of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.
- Preferred: experience with vibe coding, Linux/Unix system administration, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
