Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory verification for embedded software features.
- Analyze requirements and architecture to create verification strategies, test cases, traceability, and verification documentation.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated verification solutions using Python, C#, or similar technologies.
- Create BDD scenarios and reusable automation assets to improve verification efficiency.
- Execute verification using HIL setups, simulators, engineering test stations, and laboratory environments.
- Configure verification environments, including device provisioning, firmware flashing, software installation, and engineering environment setup.
- Perform regression testing and re-validation after defect fixes.
- Debug software defects, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and collaborate on resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD-based automated regression execution and verification process improvements.
- Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Systems Engineering, Automation, DevOps, and Quality teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in embedded software verification/testing or firmware validation for product-based organizations.
- Strong experience with embedded systems, Python or C# automation, debugging, and hardware/software integration.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to independently own feature verification and work effectively in Agile teams with strong problem-solving skills.
