Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, solution workshops, and code reviews.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks, reusable patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate, recommend, and govern technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance to development teams.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, availability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and delivery teams.
- Support project estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment.
- Drive cloud transformation, modernization, and migration programs.
- Mentor and coach developers, technical leads, and engineers across delivery teams.
- Produce solution architecture, high-level design, low-level design, and architecture governance documents.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 3–5 years in Technical Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or similar enterprise leadership role.
- Strong experience in application architecture, enterprise solution design, and software engineering.
- Proficiency with enterprise technologies such as Java, .NET, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience designing microservices architectures, API-led integrations, cloud solutions, system integrations, performance optimization, scalability engineering, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud or architecture certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum delivery environments and domain experience in banking and financial services, insurance, healthcare, or retail.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, and client engagement skills.
- Ability to influence technical decisions across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
