Responsibilities
- Advise CTO- and CEO-level clients on DevOps, cloud, automation, SRE, and platform-engineering strategies.
- Assess client maturity across tools, processes, and organization and provide practical improvement recommendations.
- Design complex, secure, self-service, cost-controlled engineering platforms for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Lead end-to-end transformation projects involving automated platforms, adoption programs, operating-model changes, and reusable templates.
- Organize and manage consulting teams and oversee delivery of client engagements.
- Define and implement operating models for platforms while incorporating organizational changes associated with SRE and Platform Engineering.
- Build client capabilities through awareness, communication, training, and promotion of DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native practices.
- Manage suppliers and partners, including provider selection and contract negotiation.
- Contribute expertise, technology monitoring, experience reports, articles, proposals, client presentations, business development, recruiting, and practice performance activities.
- Mentor junior consultants and support the development of Wavestone’s Cloud practice and DevOps offering.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading DevOps transformations or implementing automated infrastructure platforms.
- Deep knowledge of DevOps practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and SRE.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP and their associated services.
- Knowledge of container orchestration and container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog.
- Experience managing teams and leading complex projects.
- Strong communication and relationship skills with senior-management stakeholders, along with a collaborative mentoring mindset.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Interest in innovative topics such as Generative AI.
