Responsibilities
- Design and develop Mali graphics architecture for the latest graphics APIs and future product markets.
- Drive graphics architecture to meet future content demands.
- Perform performance modeling and analysis of graphics hardware features, applications, benchmarks, and games.
- Develop and improve tools for architectural exploration and performance analysis.
- Analyze system-level architectural trade-offs involving hardware, memory systems, and system software.
- Conduct architecture research, hands-on prototyping, and experimental investigations.
- Collaborate with Arm engineering teams to deliver new ideas into products.
- Engage with product groups, industry consortia, partners, and customers.
- Develop roadmaps and own requirement specifications for foundational infrastructure and control subsystems.
Requirements
- BSEE or BSCS is required; an MS or PhD in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred.
- At least 15 years of computer graphics experience or equivalent is required.
- Deep experience in computer graphics and GPU architecture is required.
- Strong programming ability in C, C++, and scripting is required.
- Knowledge of graphics and computer APIs including OpenGL, OpenCL, and DirectX is required.
- Ability to quantify and make power, performance, and area trade-offs is required.
- Preferred experience includes driving architecture development and PPAB optimizations, performance modeling of microarchitecture, and GPU RTL design.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, teamwork, and self-motivation skills are expected.
