Responsibilities
- Lead on-site and remote customer engagements involving architecture and use case reviews, sizing, performance tuning, and deployment topology planning.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges from initial design through production operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Help customers implement AI solutions and data platform best practices using Couchbase indexing, SQL++, Full-Text Search, Vector Search, and Columnar technologies.
- Support Couchbase implementation phases including installation, deployment planning, and operational best practices.
- Present architectural concepts to developers, architects, and C-level stakeholders as a technical product expert.
- Contribute to internal software development, benchmarking, troubleshooting, and technical collateral.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams on technical escalations and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise backend software consulting experience focused on SQL, NoSQL, or distributed database technologies.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Strong application design and development foundation, including traditional RDBMS schema modeling and configuration.
- Experience engaging with developers and using AI-assisted development or evaluation techniques such as Gemini or Claude.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex end-to-end technical issues.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Fluency in English is required.
