Responsibilities
- Design and implement architectural strategies for large language models and neural networks.
- Develop, customize, deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and LLM solutions at scale.
- Build scalable data pipelines and data architectures for model training and production.
- Apply data preprocessing, storage, retrieval, and optimization techniques to large datasets.
- Integrate model architectures with data pipelines, cloud environments, and broader enterprise applications.
- Conduct research and development involving AI, machine learning, distributed computing, high-performance computing, algorithms, models, and simulations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, data scientists, UI designers, and client teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, provide cross-team solutions, and mentor team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and align model development with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required, including experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 15 years of full-time education is required, while a related master's degree or PhD is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying production models at scale, including monitoring, alerting, automatic bug filing, and auditing.
- At least 5 years of experience applying computer science foundations, computer system architecture, system engineering, and programming.
- At least 3 years of experience with distributed computing systems and architecture, including areas such as big data, high-performance computing, scientific computing, grid computing, cloud computing, or distributed networks.
- At least 2 years of experience building and deploying AI/ML software to a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks, with familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience with language model APIs and optimizing their use for specific applications.
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
- Experience designing scalable data architectures and optimizing large datasets for language model training and deployment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, client-facing consulting skills, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
