Base Salary
$195k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, deploy, and support algorithmic trading strategies and trading engines using core Java.
- Lead and grow teams across North America and globally.
- Collaborate with global trading, quantitative, and IT teams to advance the platform and supported businesses.
- Develop and optimize high-volume, low-latency, resilient, scalable, message-driven trading systems.
- Analyze requirements, formulate designs, develop solutions, and deploy changes across the full software development lifecycle.
- Generate and analyze trading signals and data while improving technical and execution performance.
Requirements
- Expert-level core Java knowledge in a UNIX/Linux environment.
- Experience working in a front-office environment with trading and quantitative strategists.
- Experience with algorithmic trading or automated market-making systems in liquid markets such as equities, FX, or liquid rates.
- Experience with low-latency messaging middleware and publish/subscribe technologies.
- Electronic trading knowledge, preferably in cash equities, ETFs, or futures; liquid rates or FX experience is acceptable.
- Strong problem-solving, requirements analysis, software design, coding, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with agentic AI-led software development, KDB/Q, or HTML5/Angular UI development is desirable.
