Base Salary
$175k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure end-to-end.
- Solve complex problems involving distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance.
- Integrate, deploy, serve, and scale large generative AI models in production.
- Instrument, experiment, and iterate on production systems and products to improve quality.
- Design and operate platform infrastructure, third-party integrations, storage systems, security, and internal APIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record of shipping high-impact systems or products in production.
- Strong problem-solving fundamentals, learning ability, engineering judgment, practicality, and time management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Extensive experience with LLMs or generative media models is preferred.
- Startup founder or early-stage engineering experience is preferred.
- Collaborative, grounded approach and willingness to contribute broadly are preferred.
