Base Salary
$185k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own developer productivity improvements by identifying engineering workflow bottlenecks and architecting LLM-powered solutions.
- Interview engineers to understand their processes and accelerate their workflows.
- Build automated code refactoring, test generation, documentation, debugging, and other developer tools.
- Deploy LLM-powered services using commercial APIs such as Claude and open-source models.
- Integrate AI-driven bug detection and security vulnerability assessments into internal CI/CD and build processes.
- Prototype and rapidly ship MVP developer tools for feedback and iteration.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant coding experience.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of one or more of Python, Node.js, C++, Go, C#, and Java.
- Ability to learn new languages, libraries, and frameworks as needed.
- Experience building production-ready code used regularly by many people.
- Preferred: experience with Language Server Protocols and IDE integration.
- Preferred: experience managing and optimizing large monolithic repositories, build systems, and version control workflows.
- Preferred: strong SQL and database technology proficiency.
- Preferred: knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Terraform.
