Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain self-service tooling, CLIs, libraries, templates, and internal developer platform features.
- Provide developer support by triaging and resolving platform service requests and issues.
- Implement and maintain pipelines-as-code, release workflows, automated tests, and quality gates.
- Create evaluation-based quality gates, regression suites, and review workflows for AI systems.
- Author and maintain modular infrastructure-as-code for cloud and on-premises resources.
- Deploy and operate workloads across AWS or Azure and Kubernetes using GitOps.
- Instrument services and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and AI telemetry for latency, cost, token usage, and quality.
- Participate in on-call operations, incident response, post-incident reviews, and follow-up remediation.
- Apply platform security, secrets management, access control, policy-as-code, and AI confidentiality controls.
- Automate operational tasks with scripts and small services and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation as code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
- Production-quality coding proficiency in Go and Python, plus PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, code review, automated testing, and pipelines-as-code.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm and familiarity with GitOps.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with observability tools and basic SRE practices.
- Exposure to test automation, policy-as-code, and platform security practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting business-critical systems, ideally in professional services, legal, or regulated environments.
- ITIL familiarity, Lean or Agile experience, and relevant AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
