Base Salary
$205k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based environments end to end.
- Administer OpenShift and/or RKE2 environments and troubleshoot Kubernetes resources, clusters, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage persistent storage including PVs, PVCs, StorageClasses, and volume mounts.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows.
- Manage Terraform infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code.
- Administer AWS infrastructure, cloud instances, storage, networking, and access controls.
- Manage Argo CD and GitOps-based deployments, Git repositories, and GitLab CI/CD workflows.
- Manage and troubleshoot container technologies, registries, and Apache Pulsar topics and messaging resources.
- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshoot monitoring, logging, application, container, cluster, cloud, storage, and networking issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and document technical findings and resolutions.
Requirements
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based environments, including OpenShift and/or RKE2.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes resources, persistent storage, RBAC, ServiceAccounts, secrets management, and security best practices.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Argo CD, GitOps, container registries, Apache Pulsar, Linux, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, or similar monitoring and logging platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, ingress/egress, load balancing, and service connectivity.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, container, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, storage, and networking layers.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Richardson, Texas.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must comply with required drug and alcohol testing.
