Base Salary
$100k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve monitoring, observability, and performance of deployed systems.
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack-based cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Python, Ansible, and GitHub Workflows.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Support containerization initiatives using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
- Share best practices and improve processes across teams.
- Participate in on-call and operational support as needed.
Requirements
- At least four years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform administration, or infrastructure automation.
- At least four years of experience with OpenStack or similar cloud platforms, Python and Ansible, monitoring and observability systems, and containerization technologies.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strong Ansible automation and configuration management experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and workflows such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in Python programming or scripting.
- Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud deployments.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience with low-level virtualization technologies such as QEMU and libvirt is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
