Base Salary
$112k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems that turn bug reports and feature requests into clarified problem statements, implementation plans, and approval gates.
- Develop conversational Slack intake workflows that clarify requirements, notify stakeholders, create Jira work, and hand work to delivery workflows.
- Normalize demand from help desks, Salesforce, and operational alerts while preserving provenance, urgency, ownership, and customer context.
- Build tooling for repository discovery, plan execution, automated testing, pull request creation, and change evidence.
- Contribute to automated pull request review for correctness, regressions, test coverage, maintainability, and policy concerns.
- Build dependable agentic platform behaviors including permissions, auditability, evaluation, observability, rollback, and cost controls.
- Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Collaborate across teams, write tested maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot distributed agentic systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of backend software development experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Familiarity integrating third-party APIs such as Jira, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; experience with LLM-based or agentic systems; experience with Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools; familiarity with internal developer productivity platforms; Node.js or Java backend experience; Docker and Kubernetes knowledge; and CI/CD and observability experience.
