Responsibilities

  • Design, automate, deploy, and operate infrastructure, container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, observability, and platform services.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and maintain Linux-based environments, containerized workloads, and platform services.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, secrets management, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Configure infrastructure supporting applications, databases, data pipelines, and AI/ML workloads.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across infrastructure and platform services.
  • Support networking, scalability, high availability, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, performance, and platform reliability issues.
  • Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, deployment procedures, monitoring, maintenance, and recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, data science, AI/ML, and security teams.
  • Apply security, privacy, data governance, and compliance requirements throughout infrastructure and platform operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with platform engineering and infrastructure automation in enterprise or Federal environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, configuration management, secrets management, and artifact management.
  • Experience operating infrastructure that supports applications, databases, data pipelines, or AI/ML workloads.
  • Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, networking, scalability, high availability, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup, and recovery.
  • Experience with automated deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, system reliability, and secure infrastructure practices.
  • Strong technical communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility are required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes secure Federal, on-premises, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure; Kubernetes or Rancher; Jenkins; self-hosted Azure DevOps; Linux administration; PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server; Java or .NET environments; AI/ML and open-source AI model infrastructure; container orchestration; service networking; platform security; infrastructure monitoring; centralized logging; vulnerability management; and disaster recovery solutions.
