Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
- Configure Kubernetes deployments with Helm for new features and changing requirements.
- Partner with systems engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
- Support systems administration, installation, configuration, and adoption of DevOps practices.
- Contribute to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
- Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, and bug triage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, 6+ years with a master’s degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain or maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- At least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CISSP.
- Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification under DoD 8570 policy.
- Strong Linux proficiency, including knowledge of sysctls for Kubernetes environments and experience with FApolicyd and SELinux.
- Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, Helm chart design and development, and Kubernetes deployment components.
- Experience developing GitLab pipelines, including GitLab CI/CD components and code quality, coverage, and test reports.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience includes systems at scale, enterprise or production systems, Agile processes, Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, Kafka, AMQP, JMS, Prometheus, Grafana, GPU-based Kubernetes, and Nexus.

- The posted base pay range is $107,900.00 to $195,050.00 per year.
