Base Salary
$125k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement AI-enabled features and simple RAG/agent workflows with senior guidance.
- Design, build, test, and deploy small services and maintain their CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call duties for owned components and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to design reviews and suggest process improvements.
- Mentor AI Engineer I teammates.
- Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to deliver scoped solutions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience with LLM or AI-enabled features.
- Proficient in Python (async patterns), FastAPI, Pydantic v2, and pytest.
- Experience building and deploying services on AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway).
- Production experience with LLMs and basic RAG/agent features.
- Familiarity with production data layers (Redis, DynamoDB, Postgres/Aurora) via async SQLAlchemy.
- Understanding of identity and app-security fundamentals (JWT/OAuth, secrets management).
- Experience with containerized delivery (Docker/ECS) through CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
