Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services using Python.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data extraction and transformation.
- Write efficient, production-quality code for data ingestion and delivery.
- Architect and implement data solutions on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Design and maintain relational and NoSQL databases for high-volume workloads.
- Monitor and optimize database and pipeline performance.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to generate actionable insights.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
- Experience with backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience in Mortgage Servicing or Financial Services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
