Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, sustain, troubleshoot, and enhance Python applications, including concurrent or multiprocess systems.
- Maintain legacy enterprise applications and resolve operational issues and bugs.
- Work with real-time, event-driven, distributed, and microservices architectures.
- Use AWS cloud services and upgrade systems to meet security requirements.
- Design, debug, and test software components against design specifications, including unit and integration testing.
- Lead design and code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Advise clients on improving and modernizing existing systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing and sustaining Python applications in an Agile environment.
- Experience with real-time or event-driven architectures, queues, producer or consumer pipelines, distributed systems, or microservices.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Batch, Lambda, or Step Functions.
- Experience designing, debugging, and testing software components.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with additional AWS services, statistical or optimization methods, Flask, JavaScript, Docker, infrastructure-as-code, scientific or geospatial Python libraries, shell scripting, and build or deployment automation.
- Master’s degree and TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph are preferred qualifications.

- The projected base compensation range is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 annualized USD.
