Base Salary

$165k - $256k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and extend an agentic harness for game logic generation, including tool orchestration, context management, and engine integration.
  • Integrate creator-focused generative systems into core game engine architecture.
  • Implement sandboxed execution, permissioned tool access, content-safety and IP checks, and human review points.
  • Build evaluations and automated regression suites for generated game compilation, loading, frame rate, and intent matching.
  • Partner with researchers, engineers, artists, and designers to turn prototypes into production-ready engine features.
  • Design extensible interfaces and define how new technologies are productized within the engine.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with AAA game engines.
  • Expertise in C++.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with agentic harnesses and workflows, including Claude Code, Codex, or Opencode.
  • Experience with context engineering, graph engineering, and long-running workflow orchestration.
  • Experience in one or more game engine development domains, such as gameplay, simulation, systems, content pipelines, or performance-critical systems.
