Base Salary
$230k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform and LLM inference serving
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Create and maintain a self-service infrastructure platform for engineering teams
- Own CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Architect and operate distributed systems using distributed databases, retrieval systems, and ML models
- Develop core data-serving abstractions and authentication and security features including SSO and RBAC
- Integrate the technology stack with enterprise customer environments
- Improve observability through metrics, logging, and tracing
- Lead and participate in incident management, monitoring, root cause analysis, and postmortems
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of hands-on software development experience in highly technical products
- Strong software engineering background with an inclination toward automation, tooling, and platform development
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, release management, and container orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry
- Experience with incident response and operating distributed systems in production
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Production experience with LLMs and machine learning models is advantageous
- Background in distributed systems, SaaS services at scale, and agentic architecture is advantageous
- Familiarity with OAuth, SSO, and mTLS is advantageous
- Startup or platform/infrastructure-focused team experience is advantageous
