Base Salary
$88k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and test existing and new software capabilities and algorithms for the GMD Weapon System Fire Control software team.
- Support code modernization, including potential translation of Ada code to C++.
- Review software requirements and test cases developed for the GFC software team.
- Support an in-person closed-area work environment and travel up to 10% as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 0–2 years of related experience.
- Recent and extensive software development experience in Ada, C++, or Java, with willingness to become highly proficient in Ada.
- Strong mathematics and physics background and experience understanding and implementing complex algorithms.
- Current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in mathematics or physics; Linux, scripting, and operations experience; MDA GMD program experience; and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and Bitbucket.
