Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and managed services supporting Clio’s production environments.
- Implement and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and developer experience in collaboration with software developers.
- Enhance observability, reliability, alerting, monitoring, and incident response.
- Lead cloud optimization initiatives focused on performance, cost efficiency, and security posture.
- Mentor and guide team members and promote technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Partner with Security, MLOps, and Product Engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant systems.
Requirements
- Deep experience designing, deploying, and operating AWS infrastructure and managed services such as RDS, EKS, and Lambda at scale.
- Strong expertise with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Strong coding foundation in application development or automation and tooling.
- Proficiency in container orchestration and cluster management.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Linux systems administration, networking, and observability tooling.
- Experience with Kubernetes or EKS on AWS in production environments is a bonus.
- Knowledge of best practices for managing and securing cloud environments at scale is a bonus.
- Prior platform engineering, developer productivity, or cloud application delivery experience is a bonus.
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
