Responsibilities
- Architect and implement next-generation distributed systems for Twilio Voice.
- Design low-latency, high-scale APIs for real-time data access.
- Optimize and manage distributed database environments for high availability.
- Own the full development lifecycle from design to production operation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve distributed systems challenges.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and scaling challenges.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Dropwizard, and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Aurora, or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP for deploying large-scale services.
- Comfortable operating in an agile environment with a 'you build it, you run it' mentality.
