Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team from initial discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
- Lead customer discovery meetings, platform demonstrations, and technical Proof of Value engagements for new and existing customers.
- Translate customer business challenges, technology architectures, and operational needs into appropriate Tanium solutions.
- Serve as the technical expert during sales engagements and align pre-sales and Proof of Value activities with strategic account goals.
- Partner with field engineering teams to deliver technically effective and consistent customer experiences.
- Present to stakeholders ranging from vice presidents to technology users and address customer needs through written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
- Participate in regional marketing events and conferences and provide customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve effectiveness throughout the customer lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions.
- Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments.
- Experience with Canadian Federal and Provincial governments.
- Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
- Experience presenting to audiences from VP level through solution users.
- Track record of owning complex initiatives and producing successful outcomes.
- Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, compliance, and related products.
- Hands-on expertise in one or more of endpoint security, IT operations management, or regulatory compliance.
- Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
