Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, develop, and performance-manage the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture organization
- Build in-region technical depth across Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia
- Open strategic enterprise accounts through industry expertise, technical credibility, and regional relationships
- Own the technical outcome of the region’s most strategic pursuits
- Define the regional Solutions Architecture vision, strategy, coverage model, and operating rhythm
- Lead secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI deployments across cloud, hybrid, VPC, on-premises, and air-gapped environments
- Create repeatable solution-selling methodologies, industry playbooks, executive narratives, business cases, and technical delivery frameworks
- Partner with Asia Pacific Sales leadership on territory, coverage, pipeline, and strategic opportunities
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, and technical deep dives
- Develop solution architectures, implementation roadmaps, and technical proposals
- Guide customers on scalability, security, governance, data residency, and operational readiness
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align customer needs with platform evolution
- Capture regional customer feedback and competitive insights to influence product strategy
- Own and report on technical win rates, pipeline health, coverage, and team performance
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture
- At least 7 years leading customer-facing technical teams
- Experience building or running a technical organization across multiple Asia Pacific markets
- A senior technical and executive network across the region
- Proven experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams
- Hands-on experience putting real AI systems into production and pressure-testing architectures
- Ability to partner with enterprise Sales leadership, influence strategic deals, and articulate business value to executives
- Strong executive presence with CEOs, business leaders, CIOs, Chief AI Officers, and CISOs
- Strong understanding of modern AI architectures, large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, hybrid and on-premises deployments, security, and governance
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex, regulated, or large-scale environments
- Preferred experience building an AI, machine learning, or data science function inside a large regulated enterprise and taking it into production
- Preferred depth in Asia Pacific financial services, telecommunications, or the public sector
- Preferred experience with customer-controlled infrastructure, including on-premises, sovereign, and air-gapped deployments
- Preferred background in enterprise AI, cloud, data platform companies, or applied AI consulting organizations
- Preferred experience building repeatable solution-selling methodologies
- Working proficiency in a regional language in addition to English is preferred
- Experience in high-growth environments with speed, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration is preferred
