Responsibilities
- Lead the design of enterprise-scale AI, machine learning and Generative AI architectures.
- Define end-to-end architectures spanning models, data platforms, APIs, applications, cloud infrastructure, integrations, security and operations.
- Provide architectural leadership, governance and technical challenge across architects, engineers, vendors and delivery partners.
- Lead complex AI and data transformation programmes from proof of concept through implementation and production deployment.
- Own engagement delivery across scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and quality.
- Translate business objectives into technology roadmaps, architecture decisions and delivery plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary AI, data, cloud, application and delivery teams.
- Advise senior client stakeholders on AI strategy, architecture and implementation.
- Support proposals, solution approaches, delivery models, estimates and presentations for AI transformation opportunities.
- Coach architects, technical leads and delivery team members and contribute to AI capability development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a similar field.
- Approximately 10 or more years of relevant technology, architecture, consulting or programme delivery experience, including significant leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing or governing enterprise AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise-scale technology programmes from solutioning through implementation.
- Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders in complex organisations.
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary technology teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI/ML and Generative AI architecture, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, model integration and AI application patterns.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of data architecture, APIs, integration patterns, cloud-native architecture, security and enterprise application environments.
- Strong programme delivery, risk management, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- An MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous.
