Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with minimal supervision.
Participate in code reviews, team discussions, project planning, and technical decision-making.
Lead small technical initiatives and solve complex problems using efficient algorithms and logical analysis.
Maintain and support existing software applications, troubleshoot defects, and ensure reliable operation of deployed software.
Provide live-service support, monitor applications, and identify and fix bugs.
Participate in incident root-cause analysis and improve application security, maintenance, and resilience.
Mentor early-career and junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
Communicate requirements and progress with stakeholders and encourage feedback on technologies and methodologies.
Apply DevOps principles, test automation, programming tools, and performance checks.
Follow approved technologies, standard practices, group policies, release guidelines, and traditional and agile delivery practices.

6–11 years of professional experience.
Must have experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Ability to work unsupervised, estimate effort accurately, and lead smaller engineering-focused initiatives.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug software and develop reliable and efficient applications.
Experience participating in code reviews, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with technical stakeholders.
Ability to apply logical analysis, prioritisation, critical thinking, and efficient algorithms to solve problems.
