Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP PP processes for MRP, production orders, execution, routings, work centers, BOM management, capacity planning, scheduling, backflushing, costing, goods movements, and shop-floor reporting.
- Use AI copilots and pre-built AI services for requirements analysis, configuration validation, test generation, documentation, exception analysis, issue classification, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver SAP PP solutions through requirements, design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Integrate SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, MES, and shop-floor systems using standard APIs and middleware.
- Ensure production governance, change controls, data accuracy, audit compliance, and responsible AI usage.
- Create reusable templates, checklists, test packs, and AI-enabled SAP PP delivery practices.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, procurement, cost-controlling, integration, and SAP engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong SAP PP expertise in discrete manufacturing, including BOMs, routings, production orders, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP.
- Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO, including material availability, inspection lots, demand, and costing.
- Familiarity with order confirmations, settlements, and shop-floor data capture.
- Ability to use AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators.
- Ability to embed pre-built AI capabilities into production planning or execution without custom model building.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and manufacturing-requirements translation skills.
- Preferred: SAP PP certification, S/4HANA Manufacturing experience, MES or shop-floor integration experience, IoT-enabled production data exposure, EWM/WM, PM, or APO/IBP exposure, and familiarity with Tricentis or CBTA.
