Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and troubleshoot DHS applications across backend, frontend, database, and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain functionality using .NET, React, Angular, Oracle, SQL Server, AWS, and Azure.
- Implement and support Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, SharePoint, Office 365, Dataverse, Drupal, Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow solutions.
- Design and maintain automated deployment processes and SharePoint solution deployments across multiple environments.
- Gather requirements with analysts and customers, assess design feasibility, create technical specifications, and support all phases of the systems engineering life cycle.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues reported by QA teams, technical support, and clients.
- Lead development tasks, collect metrics, facilitate issue-prioritization meetings, mentor developers, conduct peer code reviews, and potentially supervise subordinate software programmers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline.
- At least seven years of combined experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, applications, or operating system software.
- At least five years of experience with the listed programming languages and environments.
- Microsoft Certified Professional or another Microsoft certification, or ServiceNow certification.
- US citizenship and the ability to successfully complete a government-issued background investigation.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust; prior Public Trust or security clearance is preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, mentoring, peer-review, and technical-design skills.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Drupal, ServiceNow, and Databricks is desired.
