Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java backend services and microservices.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Work with PostgreSQL and troubleshoot application and database issues.
- Deploy and support applications in AWS cloud environments.
- Work with containers, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using automated testing practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues across applications, services, and databases.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and other team members in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with containers and CI/CD.
- Proficiency with Git/GitLab.
- Experience with automated testing and software development best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on backend Java development experience.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, event-driven architectures, AWS SNS/SQS, Terraform, or production-grade enterprise applications is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
