Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain software and solution architectures aligned with business, product, and technology direction.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into application, service, API, integration, and data designs.
- Document architectural decisions, assumptions, trade-offs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Design cloud-focused solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS while addressing security, scalability, reliability, resilience, performance, observability, maintainability, and cost.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Lead solution-level architecture and design reviews and guide engineers through complex technical issues.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and technical debt and recommend remediation.
- Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, technical spikes, and reference implementations.
- Provide architectural guidance for software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
- Apply security-by-design principles and coach engineers on software design, architectural patterns, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development.
- At least 5 years of experience with DevOps methodologies.
- At least 5 years of experience with C#, React, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Intermediate ability to create clear and effective technical documentation.
- Intermediate understanding of web application functionality, security measures, and software development best practices.
- Intermediate ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs.
- Intermediate expertise in designing, creating, and maintaining databases.
- Intermediate ability to implement and manage DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
- Intermediate understanding of software development lifecycle practices and workflows.
- Ability to travel 10%.
