Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, UX Research, and cross-functional engineering teams to design and develop Android features.
- Build and enhance ZALORA’s post-purchase customer experience.
- Develop high-performance, well-structured native Android applications using modern best practices.
- Ensure the Android app’s performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Contribute to architecture evolution focused on improved testability and application stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
- More than five years of proficiency in Kotlin, Android Jetpack, Coroutine Flow, Dagger, and unit testing.
- Experience with offline storage, concurrency, threading, performance tuning, benchmarking, and optimization.
- Familiarity with mobile architectures including MVVM, Clean architecture, and multi-module systems.
- Knowledge of Jetpack Compose, the mobile development lifecycle, and design patterns including OOP and SOLID.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Bonus experience with CI/CD, automation tools, static code analysis, or functional programming.
