Base Salary
$121k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build out the backend for Pinner-facing features.
- Contribute to the product development process from ideation to release.
- Partner with design, product, and backend teams for end-to-end functionality.
- Suggest new product ideas and features from a Pinner's perspective.
- Employ automated testing to ensure high technical quality.
- Design, develop, and operate large scale distributed systems.
- Work with Engineering customers to understand and address new requirements.
- Improve the developer process and experience across all phases.
Requirements
- 1+ years of industry backend development experience.
- Proficiency in common backend tech stacks for RESTful API and data processing.
- Experience building and operating large scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, C++, or Go, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to write reliable and maintainable code.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
