Base Salary

$133k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

Independently own and deliver features end-to-end.
Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features.
Work with the mobile team to design and build strong, resilient APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand member pain points and develop solutions.
Proactively identify opportunities for improving system reliability and scalability.
Work across the engineering team to uphold high technical standards.
Grow into owning larger components of the system over time.

3+ years developing software in a production environment at scale.
Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching systems.
Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
An appreciation for maintainable and well-tested code.
Enjoyment in learning and understanding complex systems.
Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
Product mindset with a bias toward experimentation and measuring impact.
Start-up experience is a plus.
