Responsibilities
- Provide senior architectural leadership and technical guidance for provider and payer/provider interoperability initiatives.
- Define technical roadmaps, reference architectures, governance standards, and architectural patterns for enterprise-scale solutions.
- Design data lakehouse, cloud-native, healthcare data exchange, and integration architectures.
- Guide development teams on Java, Python, Spark, advanced SQL, REST API frameworks, DevOps, GitHub repositories, YAML configuration, and Terraform.
- Collaborate with product owners, product managers, and senior business and IT leaders to translate requirements into architectural roadmaps.
- Present and justify solution designs to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five years of technical experience in mainframe and/or open systems environments, including system software, application software, or databases.
- At least five years of enterprise technology lead experience with technical decision-making and application development or infrastructure services experience.
- At least five years of IT solutions delivery experience.
- At least five years of consultative solutions architecture and enterprise support services experience.
- At least one year of experience using modeling languages and at least one year as a Solutions Architect.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or six years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
- Preferred experience includes five or more years in healthcare, particularly healthcare data exchange, FHIR, HL7, and clinical or payer data flows.
- Preferred experience includes modern cloud data lakehouse architecture using GCP, BigQuery, Iceberg, and Kafka, plus Java/Python integration and Terraform/GitHub CI/CD.
- Preferred certifications include SAFe Architect and ArchiMate Language.
