Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate secure gateway controls, audited terminal logins, and session recording mechanics.
  • Maintain resilient service boundaries and APIs for the decoupled privileged access management platform.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering partners to design and validate technical solutions.
  • Build automated test suites, integration harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Own production operational health, performance, reliability telemetry, on-call participation, and postmortem analysis.
  • Create and maintain architecture specifications, API contracts, and external open-source developer documentation.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of software engineering experience with team lead experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, Rust, or TypeScript, including AI-led development practices.
  • Practical experience with secure gateway architectures, reverse proxies, and SSH, RDP, or HTTPS session proxying.
  • Understanding of identity and access management, key-rotation protocols, and real-time audit logging systems.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, automated unit/integration/end-to-end testing, and SRE or observability tools such as APM, alerting, and telemetry dashboards.
  • Familiarity with zero-trust and zero-knowledge architectures, encryption standards, and threat-modeling methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, written documentation, open-source, and developer advocacy capabilities.
