Responsibilities
- Work with client leadership teams to understand challenges and define Generative AI strategies.
- Design and deliver GenAI solutions, platform architectures, and technology strategies for international clients.
- Evaluate and coach client technology teams while managing project quality, risk, expectations, and escalations.
- Enable clients to apply agile methods and modern approaches to strategic IT implementation.
- Facilitate workshops and client meetings, frame complex problems in business contexts, and build client trust.
- Contribute to project proposals, client care, new business opportunities, practice development, and the BCG brand.
- Depending on seniority, guide junior team members and mentor colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science.
- 3–10 years of experience in IT strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management.
- Previous consulting experience focused on technology or digital initiatives is required.
- Strong technical expertise in Generative AI and machine learning, including LLMs, RAG, Guardrails, MLOps, and multimodality.
- Understanding of GenAI platforms and middleware such as AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Advanced prompt engineering knowledge and understanding of context windows and memory; RAG experience is required.
- Experience with legacy environments, modern technology approaches, agile consulting, digital and agile transformations, IT organization and process development, and peer-level workshops.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, strategic, entrepreneurial, business, interpersonal, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, operate autonomously, maintain high professional and ethical standards, and travel worldwide.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
