Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cross-application frontend frameworks end-to-end, from low-level technical implementation through UX decisions
- Use browser APIs including Broadcast Channels, Service Workers, and Local Storage for real-time communication between applications
- Help develop an Electron desktop application using Electron-specific capabilities such as the IPC API
- Design ergonomic, portable, powerful, idiomatic, and extensible APIs for applications across the platform
- Create intuitive cross-application behaviors and improve user workflows
- Collaborate with teams across the company and learn different codebases and architectural patterns
Requirements
- At least 2 years of frontend software engineering experience
- Strong frontend coding skills with proficiency in JavaScript and an understanding of web technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent understanding of algorithms, performance, and systems design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
- Experience building high-quality software in a fast-paced CI/CD development environment is valued
- Ability to collaborate across teams, ramp up quickly on unfamiliar codebases, work autonomously, and make decisions with minimal supervision
