Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Contribute to critical modernization projects and re-architect core platform components.
- Collaborate with client teams and product partners across Google to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Own features and components from initial design through launch.
- Analyze and improve platform efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year of industry experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
