Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot back-end services.
- Build and improve web application solutions using a microservices architecture.
- Develop APIs and integrations using GraphQL and OpenAPI standards.
- Work with AWS, Snowflake, Redis, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Support testing, code quality, continuous improvement, and Agile workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java back-end development.
- Knowledge of Java, multithreading techniques, SQL, and unit testing with JUnit.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with databases and data warehousing concepts, including Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS and containerization tools such as Docker is preferred.
- Experience with international or distributed teams is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Jira, or Python is a plus.
- Understanding of AI prompting is nice to have.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to an evolving Agile environment, and approach problems proactively.
