Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Migrate legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with documentation and best practices.
- Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve observability using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring practices.
- Build Python-based tooling, packages, and automation to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
- Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standards.
- Provide operational and critical-incident support for pipelines and platform components.
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement and a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms, including expertise with Jenkins and pipeline modernization.
- Strong Python skills for building reusable tooling and automation.
- Understanding of Docker, ECR, GitOps, and blue/green deployment practices.
- Experience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflows.
- Experience improving observability using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring practices.
- Strong troubleshooting experience supporting platform and pipeline issues, including critical incidents.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills across global teams.
- Practical experience using AI tools in engineering workflows to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps, plus exposure to Kubernetes and troubleshooting in containerized environments.
