Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe deployment.
- Own Azure infrastructure, including environments, configuration, secrets, and networking.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Azure managed services.
- Set up and maintain observability through logging, metrics, and alerting, and diagnose production issues.
- Execute database and schema migrations safely with effective rollback paths.
- Work with the Data Engineering function on the pod’s data platform.
- Document systems and operational decisions for production-team handoff.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Production experience owning CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure managed services.
- Practical observability experience diagnosing live production issues.
- Experience running database or schema migrations in production, including handling failures.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team without a large platform function.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep is advantageous.
- Fintech or other regulated-environment experience is advantageous.
- Exposure to modern data tooling such as dbt or Snowflake is advantageous.
- Interest in agentic or AI-assisted development workflows is advantageous.
- Experience documenting decisions through ADRs, runbooks, or incident write-ups is advantageous.
