Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow features, modules, applications, workflows, catalog items, and integrations.
- Own feature delivery from requirements gathering through deployment while ensuring quality, reliability, and alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a ServiceNow subject matter expert and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and platform best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers and administrators.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, system administrators, business analysts, implementation partners, and vendors.
- Support release management, application rollouts, upgrades, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation for system designs, configurations, and user guides.
- Contribute to Service Mapping, CMDB/CSDM, configuration management, service modeling, and IT service management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with demonstrated progression in scope and impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, and database concepts.
- Experience with Service Mapping and CMDB/CSDM is an asset.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
