Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales during discovery to map prospects’ architectures, data flows, and technical constraints.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept for partner-specific use cases.
- Design and deliver integrations using APIs, data feeds, HL7, and FHIR.
- Write production-quality code and configuration in Python, SQL, and other scripting languages.
- Work with partner engineering, IT, and security teams through implementation, testing, and go-live.
- Troubleshoot data, integration, and performance issues in live partner environments.
- Translate field learnings into product feedback and reusable tools for Product and Engineering.
- Document integration solutions, patterns, and deployment playbooks.
- Support security reviews, technical questionnaires, and RFP responses requiring technical expertise.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in software engineering, integration engineering, solutions architecture, or forward deployed roles.
- Strong Python and SQL skills plus experience with at least one additional programming language.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON, flat files, and batch data exchange.
- Experience with a major cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to work directly with customer engineers and explain technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to own problems end to end in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
- Healthcare data experience is strongly preferred, including HL7, FHIR, X12 EDI files such as 834 eligibility and 837 claims, or payer and provider systems.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and secure handling of protected health information.
- Willingness to travel to partner sites approximately 15–20% of the time.
