Base Salary
$176k - $308k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with customers to discover problems, frame AI use cases, and translate business needs into working systems.
- Design, build, deploy, and harden end-to-end GenAI/ML systems including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Own the technical relationship and lead implementations from initial prototype through reliable, monitored production services.
- Prototype with real users, iterate quickly, and convert pilots into scalable enterprise deployments.
- Author reusable libraries, prompts, scaffolds, SDKs, and internal tooling that accelerate multiple deployments.
- Debug distributed systems, tune latency, implement monitoring, and contribute to platform roadmap and engineering quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building systems in customer-facing or embedded roles.
- Experience building machine learning or GenAI systems using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Ability to design and implement AI-native software in production environments.
- Backend experience with Python, Node.js, or Java and frontend experience with React or Angular.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, prompt chaining, vector search, and context management.
- Experience deploying systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP and working with CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to prioritize user value, iterate on MVPs, and design for long-term scale.
- Experience integrating AI into SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow or Salesforce is preferred.
- Production deployment experience in secure, regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
- Contributions to developer-experience tooling, frameworks, or reusable AI scaffolds are preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to work onsite with customers.
