Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented software with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure applications.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in technical discussions, and improve software quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug defects and support the operation and maintenance of deployed applications.
- Monitor live services, identify bugs, implement fixes, and participate in incident root-cause analysis.
- Lead small technical initiatives and produce accurate effort estimates for changes.
- Apply system design, algorithms, standard build patterns, and approved release practices.
- Use test automation and programming tools for performance checks and debugging.
- Mentor early-career engineers and contribute to technical communities and team capability building.
- Communicate requirements and progress with stakeholders and support opportunities for automation and innovation.
- Provide hardware, software, and network support as needed.
Requirements
- 7–11 years of professional experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, the .NET 4.8 framework, and C#.
- Deep understanding of system design, application domains, and relevant technologies.
- Ability to work independently, lead small engineering initiatives, estimate effort, and solve complex problems.
- Experience with code reviews, debugging, test automation, live service support, monitoring, and incident root-cause analysis.
- Ability to mentor junior or early-career engineers and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to apply traditional and agile delivery practices, DevOps principles, security practices, and release guidelines.
- Ability to develop reliable software while minimizing technical debt and identifying opportunities for reuse and automation.
