Responsibilities
- Create and maintain moderately to highly complex applications, reporting solutions, data infrastructure, and workflows.
- Define requirements, design solutions, develop applications, and perform system testing throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop front-end, back-end, business-layer, API, database, and CLI solutions.
- Analyze end-user data needs and build solutions that integrate with existing applications.
- Test completed programs, debug issues, and develop functional unit tests for automated testing.
- Participate in system, platform, and software upgrades, monitoring, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow approved work processes and changes.
- Collaborate with internal business teams, provide backup support, and contribute to team planning and growth strategy.
- Support InfoSec compliance activities and train system end users on business functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable business/technical experience.
- At least 5–8 years of application development experience, including web UI, API, business-layer, database, and CLI scripting work.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing strategies.
- Proficiency with C# and .NET for server-side development.
- Experience with SQL Server, including relational database design, querying, and data access.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a modern frontend framework; React is preferred, while Angular or Vue are acceptable.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development, Git version control, and CI/CD pipeline basics.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new engineering tools, languages, and frameworks.
- Preferred experience with Relativity or another eDiscovery platform, Docker or Kubernetes, Redis or other caching mechanisms, event-driven architecture, messaging protocols, stream processing, NoSQL databases, enterprise integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, microservices, Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, distributed systems, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Java, Python, and data engineering.
